Our client had a very clear vision from the get go and having worked extremely close to both Howard and Rachel, we are absolutely thrilled with the outcome of the project.

There are a lot of intricate details in this project from the bespoke joinery to the stripping back of decades of paint on the window frames to reveal the original timber finish.

Guide to Home Renovation. Part 7: The Office

Well that just flew by, we are onto the last week in our Home Renovation series and this week are looking at the home office.

More and more of us are spending time working from home, whether we are trying to put in a few extra hours or skip the rush hour commute, it is starting to become a necessary home requirement.

If you have the space then I would highly recommend a dedicated work space, as you can just shut the door and get into the zone. Equally its nice to be able to shut the door and leave the work in there.

Guide to Home Renovation. Week 2: The Kitchen

Hey there!

So following on from my last blog, we are moving it into the kitchen for this weeks inspiration.

Week 2: The Kitchen
All the time I hear people saying that they want to go for a neutral kitchen because they are afraid that they will tire of it if they opt for a colour. I can totally understand this and lets face it, if and when you decide to change your kitchen, its a pretty big investment. However, your kitchen can still have lots of interest even if you do decide to stay neutral.

Are you embracing Innovation Spaces?

Hey there!

Having worked with a large number of SME’s over the last few years we have seen a big uptake in the requirement for innovation spaces within the workplace. Now you might think that such a room would only be used by tech companies or creative agencies, but that’s not the case at all. Is Biophilic Design the key to a healthy workplace?

Hi there!

Do you know what Biophilic Design is and is your office design embracing it? If I was to hazard a guess, I would say that only a very small percentage of offices are incorporating biophilic design and this needs to change.

Most companies strive to increase their employees productivity and creativity to gain competitive advantage, and the environment that we work in directly impacts the way that we work. It can be as simple as being able to view a park from their office window, access to natural light or access to living things within their office. This is biophilia.
