As a young company we were humbled by this news, as we have been shortlisted for every project and category that we entered. The 3 projects that we put forward were:

ROTHCO – Advertising Agency

We redesigned the boardroom for Rothco last January. The brief was to create a space that was suitable for staff and clients. The space needed to be functional and adaptable with key elements of interest. However it was very important that these elements would not detract from any of their work being presented within the space. This room was also to be used for different functions, so it was imperative that the space be multifunctional and the furniture modular.

BIMM Music College

We were absolutely delighted when we were approached by BIMM Music College last year to design their new college in The Coombe. Our brief was to create a space that would encourage and promote creativity. However, it was also important that the design in the lecture rooms did not detract from the learning process and so colour and pattern had to be introduced in a clever way. With this in mind, we concentrated on bringing interest onto the floor using a mix of different textures and colours.

ESB Innovation SpacePic 4

You heard all about this project last week, but just for those of you who didn’t see it. We were engaged by the ESB to design an innovative space in their HQ on Fitzwilliam St. Our brief was to create a non corporate space for the company. The space was required to allow different groups to think creatively, removing them from their corporate world. It had to allow the group to work together as a whole or break up into smaller teams. There was also an emphases on sustainability and incorporating it into the space in a clever way.

The awards will be taking place on the 4th November, so please keep your fingers and toes crossed for us.
